Where do I use a joint element?
The Joint element is used in the front rolled edge of the gutter at any gutter joint. It should be used in conjunction with the joint bracket and adds further strength to the joint
How do you install the joint element?
Very simply insert the joint element into one of the gutter rolls and when you line the other gutter up the other end of the joint element will slide inside that one also. There is no need for any sealants to hold the element in place
Can you get the joint elements in different colours to suit the gutter?
No, joint elements are only available in a plain galvanised finish as they are hidden inside the gutter roll so not seen
Can you get joint elements in different sizes?
Yes, the joint elements are different sizes diameters depending on which size gutter they are to be used on so you need to select either the 125mm or 150mm element accordingly. The lengths of the elements are the same and are long enough to add sufficient support to the gutter joint
